1.2 Four reasons Jesus came to Earth.

1.3 Differences in the Old Testament and the New Testament.

Old Testament- Before Jesus
1. Teacher (schoolmaster) to lead us to Christ.
2. Justified by works.
3. Forgiveness by repetitive sacrifice of animals.

New Testament- after Jesus
1. Jesus came, bringing the new and doing away with the old law.
2. Justified by faith.
3. Forgiveness by the sacrifice of Jesus, once for all.

1.4 How we are saved under the new law - "Grace-faith system"

1. We know that we sin and that we cannot earn salvation.

    b. God gives us the free gift of salvation by His grace.
